William was born and raised in Kenya. He competed in many Track and Cross Country races across the U.S. during his years in college.

Currently William Kosgei lives in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, USA.

William has been running most of his youth and adulthood. Along with running William also Coaches at Coon Rapids High School. He has been the Girls Distance Track Coach since 2007. He has was also the Assistant Coach for Coon Rapids High School Boys Cross Country Team for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

His knowledge and expertise will be a big asset to the Duma Club. William will be designing training schedules for our Club Members here in Coon Rapids area as will as for our Members in Kenya.
